Dressed ready for the winter chill, the star kept it casual in a thick black padded coat that cinched at the waist. She matched the coat with a pair of black jeans and some white branded sneakers.

Hubby Vernon, 47, looked equally as cool in a thick black double breasted jacket which he also paired with black pants and a pair of Nike sneakers. 

Vernon captioned the image 'Festive stroll out on the river! Having the best time with the family this Christmas!! Got a feeling the new year resolution will be gym related!'

The caption continued with the chicken emoji then added the words 'for days!' Followed by three love heart emoji's.

The cute snap comes after it was revealed that Vernon Kay's guest presenter stint with Josie Gibson on ITV's This Morning was met with praise from viewers earlier this month.

 Leaving fans so impressed they want them to be given their own slot.
